Several members of the Lions Club Iasi 2000, on International Children`s Day, visited the Sfanta Maria Children`s Hospital in Iasi, with the aim of making the little ones happy. More than 500 toys were donated for children hospitalized in different medical departments. A little joy brought to the little ones, in suffering, led us to plan to come back with even more support for them in the future! Happy Birthday to all children ! We serve!

1 Iunie 2023 CROSUL COPIILOR a devenit o competiție de tradiție desfășurată an de an în Parcul Copou din Vaslui. Peste 100 de copii au luat startul la ediția a VI-a, organizată anul acesta de Școala Gimnazială nr. 1 din satul Tanacu. Toți copiii s-au bucurat de tricouri, medalii, diplome, iar dulciurile și apa au fost oferite de membrii Lions Club Vaslui.

"All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them" - Walt Disney. Childhood is the most beautiful period of life. That`s why, on June 1st on Children`s Day, with the involvement of the Lions Club Sportiv Mereu Impreună Pentru Oameni volunteers, we managed to bring joy to the 35 less fortunate children at the Disabled Child Services Center (CSCH), Bucharest. It was a visit full of emotions, tears and incredible stories of abandoned souls with a lot of light and love in their eyes. Every action by which we enjoy and help disadvantaged children - and not only - is part of the ongoing mission of the association. We are proud of the contribution we make to society and honor every supporter who supports our activities. Lions week dedicated to children means not only toys for the little ones, but also book donation. Thus, today our club handed over to the EuroEd school in Iași a collection of books in French composed of 120 volumes of illustrated mini encyclopedias. Because the Lions mission to serve the community also means supporting young people in the adventure of knowledge and schooling. We serve!

Dar din dar se face. Jucăriile primite de la Districtul 124 România au început să fie distribuite la diferite școli/grădinițe/organizații/entități subfinanțate, care au nevoie de suportul nostru, astfel că de Ziua Internațională a copilului am reușit să le facem o bucurie copiilor de la Liceul special pentru deficienți de vedere Cluj-Napoca

Today, in Ungheni commune, the children from the Kindergartens in Manzatesti, Bosia and Ungheni were present and waiting for us. Together with the educational ladies, the children pleasantly surprised us with a short program of songs and dances dedicated to June 1st. The action started at 10:00 a.m., once with the loading of the trailer and by 3:00 p.m. back in the city of lions. This meeting was organized with the support of the Mayor and the lions Iulian Taraboanta, Cristi Angheluta and Aurelian Mănuță, seconded by the young people from the LEO Acropolis IASI 2000 Club: Evelina Isac, Cezar-Mihai Mănuță and their president, Stefan Baciu. This is how we managed to make a few more children happy, who couldn`t wait for us to come to them! We serve!

The toy donation marathon continued today with the visit to the kindergarten and school in Bârlesti, Erbiceni commune, Iasi county. We brought great joy to the little students, who promised us, in exchange for toys, that they would continue to be diligent and diligent students. A school that looks exemplary, with modern equipment and passionate teachers, further proof that, also in education, "man sanctifies the place". We serve!

Of course the toy marathon continues! We went to Com Bălțati, Jud Iasi where we enlightened the children`s girls at our appearance. Here we delighted no less than 88 children with the toys offered by the Lions Club Iasi 2000. Another successful day! We serve!

And today we managed to bring great joy to some children: we went to the kindergarten and school in Dobrovăț, Iasi county, with a doldora car of toys and children`s games for all ages. We were thus able to give a smile to a number of 40 kindergarten children and over 120 students, from the preparatory group to the sixth graders. And we at Lions Iași 2000 once again experienced the unique emotion of giving. We serve!

Proiectul Calator pe Mapamond s-a desfășurat la Muzeul Mitropoliei cluj-Napoca cu participarea a 10 copii de la Liceul Special pentru Deficienți de Vedere și 5 elevi de la Colegiul Teologic. Acesta a constat în 2 momente artistice la pian, unul al unei fetite nevăzătoare, celălat al unei eleve de la Colegiul ortodox. A urmat concursul de cultura generala pe tema Italia, iar la sfârșit copiii au participat la Karaoke. Au fost expuse si desene ale copiilor nevăzatori pentru jurizare. La sfărșit participanții au avut parte de un bufet oferit Lions Transilvania.

In data de 30.05.2023 a avut loc campania Bucuria copilăriei, realizată de clubul nostru alături de preotul paroh și cadre didactice din Ghelari, Răcăștie, Sălașul de Sus. Activitatea a urmărit aducerea de zâmbete pe fetele copiilor prin oferirea de jucării și dulciuri în apropierea zilei de 1 iunie.

În perioada 29 mai - 3 iunie Lions Club Bucuresti Decan și-a propus să organizeze și să finanțeze prima ediție a Taberei de Oncopediatrie. Pe parcursul a șase zile un număr de zece copii, aflați în tratament la Spitalul Gomoiu, împreună cu zece însoțitori din familiile lor, vor petrece momente de neuitat într-o atmosferă specifică unei tabere de vară. Aceștia vor fi cazați la Complexul Olimpic Sportiv Izvorani și vor beneficia de un program educativ, recreativ, divers, program ce va fi gandit și adaptat grupului, plus o petrecere surpriză organizată de 1 iunie - ziua copilului. Toate aceste activități se vor desfășura cu participarea nemijlocită a membrilor clubului Lions și, in cazul in care este nevoie, sub supraveghere medicală de specialitate. Ne-am propus ca această tabară să fie ca o evadare din atmosfera vieții de spital.

Today I visited the National Association for Children and Adults with Autism from Iasi. The association has in its records children and adults between the ages of 14 and 29, a total of 16 people, dealing with about 12 of them daily. The activities that the 3 people hired to supervise children include: painting by numbers, free painting, occupational therapy in different workshops, painting on stones, making mosaic objects, dance days, days to prepare various dishes, etc. All of these kids are very talented and have really impressed us. Thus, the Lions Club Iasi 2000 donated 30 games and toys to the NCAAR-Iasi Association. We serve!
